Programming & Probability
For this project, we had to create a code individually or with a partner based on a probability game. This program would be done on StarLogo Nova, a coding software we were introduced to, or another similar site. My partner and I chose to use Scratch, an MIT-based software that is very game-friendly, and we created our own original code. Our "story" revolved around a knight trying to save a princess, and each level it becomes increasingly more difficult to advance. If the user chooses the wrong direction for the knight to go, then the game would end and they would be forced to start over. Since there are ten levels, the probability decreases in the form of having a 100% chance of advancing on Level 1, a 50% chance of advancing on Level 2, a 33% chance of advancing on Level 3 and so forth. Below, you will find our program along with our benchmarks from the project.
